Within the Open Days programme of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, on April 13th 2016 at the Academy’s Library, a public lecture and a presentation of the Adriatic Institute’s new research project was held. The title of the project is “Developing a modern legal and insurance regime for Croatian marinas – enhancing competitiveness, safety, security and marine environmental standards” (DELICROMAR).
The lecture was held by the project leader (the principal investigator) – asst. prof. Adriana Vincenca Padovan, Ph. D.whilst the introductory note was delivered by the executive director of the Croatian Science Foundation – dr. Hrvoje Mataković, Ph. D. The lecture was attended by the academics from the law and maritime faculties, the representatives of insurance companies, insurance brokers, lawyers, representatives of the Rijeka Port Administration and of the Croatian Seafarers’ Union, etc.
The project will be implemented at the Adriatic Institute of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and arts from the 1st March 2016 until the 28th February 2019 and is financed by the Croatian Science Foundation.
