As part of the research project “Competition in the Maritime Sector – Croatian and European Legal Framework,” Dr. Božena Bulum (Adriatic Institute) and Assoc. Prof. Marija Pijaca (University of Zadar) visited key EU institutions in Brussels. The working visit to the European Parliament and the European Commission focused on an expert exchange of views regarding the specificities of applying EU law within the maritime and fisheries sectors. This visit broadened the research base of the project, supported by the Foundation of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
