Adriatic Institute Staff Conducted a Workshop on the Conditions and Methods for Removing Substandard Maritime Structures, Wrecks, and Sunken Objects

On June 6, 2025, Vesna Skorupan Wolff, PhD and Adriana Vincenca Padovan, PhD, researchers at the Adriatic Institute of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU), held a professional workshop on the conditions and procedures for the removal of substandard maritime structures, wrecks, and sunken objects.

The workshop, organized by the Adriatic Institute of HAZU in cooperation with the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, took place in the Ministry’s Congress Hall. It was actively attended by representatives of port captaincies and authorities, nautical tourism ports, and the company Plovput d.o.o.

The participants received detailed explanations of the conditions and procedures related to the workshop topic.
