Croatian Parliament adopted an Act to Ratify the Cape Town Agreement 2012 on Torremolinos Protocol for Safety of Fishing Vessels on 15 December 2020. As an EU Member State, Croatia acted in accordance with the Council Decision of 17 February 2014 authorising Member States to sign, ratify or accede to the Cape Town Agreement of 2012 on the Implementation of the Provisions of the Torremolinos Protocol of 1993 relating to the Torremolinos International Convention for the Safety of Fishing Vessels, 1977.
The ratification of the Cape Town Agreement by the Republic of Croatia should speed up its entry into force on the international level.
