4th International Scientific Conference on Maritime Law: Modern Challenges of Marine Navigation will be held on Split from April 13th to 14th, 2023. The organiser of the conference is the Faculty of Law, University of Split, in cooperation with the Adriatic Institute Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The Conference programme will include 40 presentations by the local and international maritime law experts, scholars and professionals. Presentations cover many current maritime law issues by the participants from Malta, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Spain, Serbia, Poland, Australia, USA, Croatia, Slovenia, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.

The keynote speakers of this year’s Conference are: Dr. Ann Fenech, President of the CMI, Professor Emeritus D. Rhidian Thomas, Founding Director of the Institute for Shipping and Trade Law at the School of Law, Swansea, Atty. Giorgio Berlingieri, President of the Italian Maritime Law Association and Professor Norman A. Martínez Gutiérrez, Director of the IMO International Maritime Law Institute.
