Announcement of the "International Maritime and Transport Law Course – Transport Law de lege ferenda 2023", Inter-University Centre (IUC) Dubrovnik, September 11th to 16th, 2023

The 5th edition of the "International Maritime and Transport Law Course – Transport Law de lege ferenda 2023“ will be held from September 11th to 16th, 2023, at the Inter-University Centre in Dubrovnik. A scientific assembly named Maritime Law Colloquium "In Memoriam Prof. Hrvoje Kačić" will take place on the first day of the course in honour of Professor Hrvoje Kačić, an expert on maritime law who passed away in February 2023. The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts is one of many academy institutions that will take part in this year's Course, and the employees of the Adriatic Institute will also play an active role. Božena Bulum, PhD, will present on the topic "Regulation of the Provision of Port Services in the Republic of Croatia – the Business Practice of the Croatian Ports and Competition Law", Associate Professor Adriana Vincenca Padovan, PhD, will present on the topic "Inchmaree Clause and the Like - Specificity of Marine Hull Insurance", and Irena Nišević, LL.M., will present on the topic "Fragmentation of International Law in Regard to the Protection of the Marine Environment".
