On the basis of the cooperation agreement concluded between the University of Udine and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, during September 2023, Božena Bulum, PhD, was on a study visit at the University of Udine, Department of Legal Sciences, Chair of Transport Law. Her hosts were: the head of the Chair, Professor Alfredo Antonini, the organizer of the study visit, Professor Daniele Casciano, Professor Rocco Lobianco and PhD candidates Luca Picotti, Leonardo Carbone and Petra Marija Corbo. 
Božena Bulum, PhD, participated in the course under the guidance of Prof. Antonini "Il diritto per gli operatori: percorsi di diritto della navigazione e del commercio internazionale" which is being held under the auspices of the Bar Association of Udine with a lecture "The Formation of Maritime Law in the Croatian Legal System”.
